I’ve been tested by many trials lately, and I’ve learned the following. It’s not about how we start BUT how we finish; we must finish this race at all costs.

Your trial comes to humble you; it allows you to be shaped into a new creature in Jesus. Once this shaping begins, God can easily teach us because, through the trial, we have humbled ourselves. During your trial, God can impart his wisdom and sound mind to you; this prepares you to walk humbly with God.

Pride is the opposite of humility, and an arrogant, self-important attitude can only bring shame and disgrace. And in this place, God will automatically resist the proud because His grace is for the humble.
