John 20:24-31 Gives an account of “Doubting Thomas,” who didn’t believe that Jesus was resurrected from the dead, although his faithful friends continued to tell him they’d seen the risen Christ.
Thomas is called a doubter because he didn’t believe without any actual evidence; this thinking makes Thomas a pessimist. Someone with a pessimistic mind lacks faith, is skeptical, and doubts what they haven’t seen with their carnal eyes.
A pessimist is defined: as a person who tends to see the worst aspect of things or believe that the worst will happen. The pessimist has no perspective and is easily fearful with a narrow mind.

In 2nd Corinthians, the Apostle Paul reminds us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but spiritual to destroy fortresses/strongholds and cast down imaginations. A stronghold or wrong mindset becomes a fortified dwelling place for demons, and every stronghold has a strong man. When this happens, defense is in place by the Strongman to ensure what we believe is fortified. In the case of Thomas, he had a stronghold of unbelief; Even though he had been with Jesus, he still had a pessimistic mindset. However, Jesus was patient with Thomas and revealed himself (The Truth) to Thomas, destroying any unbelief lies.
John 20:27-29 AMP Then He said to Thomas, “Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and put out your hand and place it in My side. Do not be unbelieving, but [stop doubting and] believe.” Thomas answered Him, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, do you now believe? Blessed [happy, spiritually secure, and favored by God] are they who did not see [Me] and yet believed [in Me].”
We are commanded to pull down these strongholds and every imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing our thoughts into captivity and the obedience of Christ. Every false thought, imagination, and philosophy must align with the word of God. If not, it must be taken captive.

Come up Higher (In Christ Jesus):
‘Who may ascend onto the mountain of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to what is false, Nor has sworn [oaths] deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation (description) of those who diligently seek Him and require Him as their greatest need, Who seek Your face, even [as did] Jacob. Selah. Psalms 24:3-6

I can testify I was in the same place. I had a limited mindset, unable to maximize who God has created me to be. My mind has received deliverance within the last year, and I pray that you will receive deliverance of the mind as well. When your mind is delivered, and you can receive the Truth, you will no longer have a wandering mind, always floating and unsettled. Instead, you will rest your mind upon the Rock Christ Jesus, and In Christ, you’ll learn this is where we live and move and have our being. Acts 17:28

If you are wondering… “Where do I start?” First, you must be born again.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Everything is about perspective; who or what have you believed?
Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed [confidently trusted in, relied on, and adhered to] our message [of salvation]? And to whom [if not us] has the arm and infinite power of the Lord been revealed?
