“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7
Submission to God sounds simple, but living it out is a battle. Many don’t realize how much our souls (minds) are programmed to seek approval from the wrong authority. By nature, we follow feminine (worldly) wisdom, which trains us from birth to crave the validation of Jezebel.

How often have you hesitated to obey God because you were waiting for the approval of a person, a system, or even your emotions? That’s Jezebel’s network at work—keeping you bound, entangled in deception, and stuck in cycles of striving and, ultimately, disobedience.
God desires to be our Father, restore our identity, and fill us with the Holy Ghost to break every false covering off our lives.
Yet, many still run to Jezebel’s counterfeit covering and the divine feminine’s deception instead of submitting to the true covering of the Lord.
Obedience to God is hard at times, but Jezebel’s deception offers false comfort that leads to destruction.
✔️We often refuse to submit to God’s authority when we covenant with the Jezebel spirit.
✔️This spirit leads many to pursue their own desires, and it weaves a web of control and deception, preventing us from fully stepping into our purpose.
To understand how deeply embedded this deception is, we must examine how this spirit operates.

The Web of Deception
The Jezebel spirit is more than just an influence—it’s a network. It operates through people, systems, and ideologies to keep God’s people bound. This is why Jesus said, “You must be born again” (John 3:7). Being born again isn’t about a surface-level change but a complete transformation.
Think about the word intricate—complex, complicated, involved, knotty. It suggests an interlacing so dense that separating its parts is nearly impossible. This is exactly how the Jezebel spirit operates—an intricate web of deceit deeply embedded in our nature, blinding many to its presence.
✔️It convinces us that we are free when, in reality, we are entangled.
✔️It whispers that submission to God is restrictive when true submission is the only path to freedom.
✔️It offers false wisdom and counterfeit identity and distracts from our true purpose.
Jesus is our way out!

Breaking Covenant with Jezebel’s Network
Jesus calls us to break the covenant with this spirit through repentance and submitting fully to the Father of spirits so that we may live (Hebrews 12:9). True life—abundant life—can only be found in submission to God. Anything outside of His covering leads to death.
The only way to break free from this deception is through repentance. That means humbling ourselves before God, renouncing every tie to Jezebel, and allowing the word of God to renew our minds.
Jezebel doesn’t just operate as a spirit; it builds networks of control, manipulation, and counterfeit spirituality that trap people in cycles of rebellion, fear, and fruitlessness.
Jezebel’s network suffocates godly desires, stifles productivity, and creates barrenness in the Kingdom. Anything outside of Godly abundance leads to lack and scarcity, which is evident in many lives.
Reflection:
Are there areas in your life where you’ve sought the approval of Jezebel instead of obeying God?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I repent for every way I have submitted to the Jezebel spirit. I renounce every covenant and agreement with this spirit. Today, I choose to fully submit to You, walk in Your truth, and be led by the Holy Spirit. Lord, continue to lead and guide me into Your Ways. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray-AMEN!
