1st John 1 Detailed Bible Study

The following are notes from 1st John Chapter 1:

Vital Statistics (Life Application Study)

Purpose: To reassure Christians in their Faith and to counter false teachings.

Author: The Apostle John

Original Audience: The letter is untitled and was written to no particular church. It was sent as A pastoral letter to several Gentile congregations.

Setting: John was an older man and perhaps the only surviving apostle at this time. He has not yet been banished to the island of Patmos. Where he would live in exile. As an eyewitness of Christ, he wrote authoritatively to give this new generation of believers assurance and confidence in God and in their faith.

Outline:

I. Personal eyewitness of the incarnation and providing reasoning for his writing (1:1-4)

II.God is light (Absolute Purity & Holiness) (1:5-7)

III. How to walk in the light and have continual fellowship with God (1:8-10)

The personal eyewitness of the incarnation and providing reasoning for his writing (1:1-4)

Teaching Points (Notes):

  1. That which was from the beginning” is Jesus Christ, he was not just A man, nor just A prophet; he is the Son of God who existed before the beginning of time (world), which means he is GOD the Son. John 1:1
  1. As an eyewitness to Jesus’s ministry, John was qualified to teach the truth about Jesus. John had the privilege to see Jesus with his eyes and touch him with his hands. He had A real relationship with Jesus (He was one of the original disciples).
  1. The life of Jesus was manifested (clearly apparent, revealed). Several witnesses had seen Jesus and can bear witness to this fact. 1 Corinthians 15
  1. John is declaring to us the life of Jesus. That we may also have Fellowship (association, partnership) with God, the father, and his son Jesus Christ. (This is A distinguishing mark of A Born-Again Believer

Note: John makes A clear distinction between the father and son, which shows us they are one in unity, but not the same person.

God is light (Absolute Purity & Holiness) (1:5-7) Teaching Points (Notes): Contrast Light and Darkness

  1. God is light, which means he is Holy, his message is real, and he is perfect in righteousness. In God, there is no darkness (no sin, no wickedness, no imperfection) at all. (John contrasts light against darkness those who walk in darkness are NOT born Again in fellowship with God).

RighteousnessUnrighteousness
Spiritual DiscernmentBlinded
Led by the SpiritUnder the influence of Satan
Flee (Depart), Free from SinWalks in Sin
  • If we say, we are in fellowship (association, partnership) with GOD. Still, we walk in darkness (of sin, under the influence of Satan); we are liars. Which means we are not practicing the truth of God’s word. To “walk” in darkness is A continual thing, a habitual sin. In which we cannot have fellowship with God. Example: (Someone, who goes to church, says they are A Christian, but continues in sin) this makes this person A hypocrite. Which means, we are deceiving ourselves.

If we walk in the light, which means (live each day in obedience to the word of God), as God is in the light, we will have A true unbroken (fellowship, association or partnership) with other believers. EPH 2:14 Most importantly, we will have fellowship with God. God will be with us in fellowship, and we will be with him, if we continue to walk in the light, the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin.

How to walk in the light and have continual fellowship with God (1:8-10)

  1. Some people may believe they are “good” and have no need for A savior. These individuals are deceiving themselves; Jesus came into the world to save sinners and deliver us from our sin. Luke 5:32. We’ve all sinned, which is why we MUST BE BORN AGAIN! If we say we have no sin (refusing to admit we are sinners), we deceive ourselves & God’s truth (his word) does not live in our hearts.
  2. If we (willingly) admit that we have sinned and confess our sins (to God), he is faithful (true to his nature) and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually (without stopping or interruption) from all unrighteousness (sin). God will cleanse us of everything that is not in agreement with God’s will and purpose for our lives.
  • We are called to confess our sins to God, (agree with God about our sinful nature)
  • Repent of our sin, which means to turn from our sin/wicked ways turn towards God (and walk in the light).
  • God will then forgive us of our sin, and cleanse us continually (without stopping or interruption). 2 Chr 7:14
    1. But, if we say we have not sinned (refusing to admit or confess our acts of sin), we make God A liar. We are now contradicting God and his truth, which means we are liars. When we refuse to acknowledge our sinful nature, we disagree with God. How can two walk together unless they agree? Agree with God quickly to receive salvation and eternal life.

Practical Application: Examine yourself in regards to God’s word, ask yourself, have you truly repented? Are you walking in light or darkness? Confess to God, and ask him to cleanse you of your sins.

Here is A good bible study which speaks about being “Blinded By The Light”

The Truth (JESUS)

  • John 14:6 AMP Jesus said to him, “I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
  • John 17:17 KJV Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
  • John 16:13 KJV Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

In today’s society, while having A discussion, it is common to hear someone refer to “Their/My Truth.” How can everyone have their perception of the truth when the truth isn’t relative? Jesus, The Holy Spirit, and His word is the truth. When we walk in the truth, we will not associate with any error or falsehood. We must have A love for the truth to be saved, and if not, we will be deceived and believe A lie. Those who create “their own truth” are walking in A lie.

  • 2 Thessalonians 2:11‭-‬12 KJV And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Jesus warned us in his word that satan is the Father of lies. All falsehood comes from his kingdom. Those who believe and live A Lie are of their Father, the devil.

  • John 8:44 AMP You are of your Father the devil, and it is your will to practice the desires [which are characteristic] of your Father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar and the Father of lies and half-truths.

God’s word is the anchor against any lies, false teachings, or error. We have to be careful not to agree with, accept, or walk-in A lie. If so, we become a partaker (In Agreement, or covenant) with it. God commands us to walk in truth, love in truth, know the truth, allow the truth to dwell in us, and the truth shall be with us forever. Most importantly, the truth (Which is Jesus) will make you free! John 8:32

Allow the Spirit of Truth to dwell richly in you to be made free from all error and falsehood.

Beware of the strange woman

Proverbs 2:16 To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;

There are several warnings in the Bible, but one warning which is repetitive in the book of Proverbs is to “beware of the strange” woman. In this context, the word Strange (H2114) means: (to turn aside, to be a foreigner, profane, to commit adultery, prostitute, harlot.)

This spirit is very dangerous, and it is ultimately assigned to take believers off the righteous path. It can cause poverty, fruitless labor, entanglement with cords of sin, which brings about death and eventually leads to hell!

Flattery: The strange woman is A seductress who uses flattering and smooth words to gain entrance. Flattery (H2513) also means smoothness, A smooth thing. The dictionary meaning for flattery is Excessive and insincere praise, given primarily to further one’s interests. Those who flatter with their lips always offer false praise; they are used by A spirit of seduction and deception. If the motive is not pure, it can release witchcraft upon the victim and draw them unto themselves. We always notice this in church settings or via social media (“You are such A good man of GOD”) (“The leadership doesn’t give you the recognition you need”) etc. If the victim isn’t careful, this false praise/ flattery could lead to self-pride. I’ve been on both sides of this spirit of flattery and understand very well how this works.

I’ve witnessed this false flattery in the office place as well. I worked with A coworker that praised you while you were in their face. It was excessive praise, but once you walked out, the coworker always had something wrong to say. Compliments are good, and when they are out of the right spirit, we must be able to discern between A compliment or flattery.

Seduction: As mentioned above, through seducing flattery, the strange woman can gain entrance to your soul. A seductress is A woman who seduces someone, especially one who entices a man into sexual activity. Another name for A seductress is A sirentemptressFemme fatale, sorceress(witch). The word seduction means literally to lead astray. It is a deliberate “step-by-step” process of temptation and enticement, causing someone to do something they wouldn’t normally do.

In Proverbs 7, the wiles of the Strange woman through her much fair speech and enticement caused A young man to yield to her. She prompted him to yield using the seduction of her flattering words; she used the “step-by-step” process of temptation and enticement to cause this young man to do something he wouldn’t normally do.

  • Proverbs 7:21 With her much fair speech, she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.

This strange woman cannot deceive you unless she seduces you first, once you are seduced and yielded to this strong spirit of seduction a soul tie is formed this makes it easier to cause(force) her victims to succumb to her flattering smooth words. Beware of the Seductress

Whoredoms: The spirit of whoredoms includes lewdness, fornication, adultery, prostitution, Idolatry, and all sexually illicit sin. The strange woman operates as A whore; she has the attire of A Harlot to show the world she is “available” always looking for the next victim. Like the daughters of Zion, they had Wanton eyes and stretched forth necks; this is how the strange woman works. Her eyes are always wondering, looking, or wondering who is paying attention to her.

Included in her whoredoms is the fact that she is unfaithful, she is A covenant breaker, she forgets the guide of her youth and forgets the covenant of her God. If A young man gets in entangled with this spirit, she is guaranteed to be unfaithful to him, especially if she is unfaithful to God. Beware of the whoredoms in the strange woman, through A whorish woman; you will be brought to A piece of bread (poverty).

Along with this whoredom spirit is A spirit of adultery, remember the strange woman is unfaithful and A covenant breaker, there is no surprise the Bible calls her an adulteress. Her job is to hunt for the precious life (she hunts with A hook the precious life of a man). Those who commit adultery lack common sense and sound judgment; only those who are wanting to destroy their soul will fall into this trap.

  • Proverbs 23:27-28 “For a whore is a deep ditch, and a strange woman is a narrow pit. She also lieth in wait for prey and increaseth the transgressors among men”.
  • Proverbs 6:26 “For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life”.
  • Proverbs 6:32 But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.

There are other ways this spirit operates to name A few:

  1. She doesn’t think about life; there is no thought about life, especially eternal life; she only lives for the moment.
  2. She is unstable, and you will never know where her path leads. Blindly following this spirit will lead to death, which leads to hell. Her feet go down to death, and her steps lead to hell. (Prov 5)
  3. She operates at night, hanging at night clubs, bars, hunting for the next victim.

Ladies, the strange woman spirit uses what is in us, Jesus warned us the prince of this world comes and has nothing in him. Jesus wants us to be the same way as well. It will search for any hurt, rejection, insecurity, abandonment, etc. it will use any door or soul wound to operate. It happens little by little until you are operating as A Jezebel unknowingly. Jezebel is the strange woman, and we are warned to beware of this spirit and not to tolerate it (Rev 2).

Biblical Solution:

  1. Take heed to wise counsel
  2. Listen & obey the word of GOD
  3. Seek deliverance from all forms of lust (James 1: 14 & 15 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.)
  4. Let your way be far from this strange woman (Remember Joseph, flee temptation)
  5. You must love instruction and discipline
  6. Make your heart attentive to instruction, understanding, and correction.
  7. Always incline your ear to the truth of God’s word.
  8. If you are married, drink from your own pure marriage relationship.
  9. Most importantly, guard your eyes, heart, and mind.

In conclusion, the Bible shows us this is A destructive spirit; its ultimate goal is to take its captives to hell, stopping its victim from pursuing God’s will & purpose for their life. Please don’t fall prey to this spirit nor allow it to use you with its flattery and seduction. BEWARE OF THE STRANGE WOMAN!

Blessings,

Tanicia

The sin of evil speaking

Ephesians 4:25-31

Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:Neither give place to the devil.Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil Speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

In the scripture above, we are provided with A list of sins we can commit, which grieves the Holy Spirit. To grieve means to: (cause distress, to be sad, heaviness, be sorrowful, make sorry or cause grief). The book of Ephesians was written to the believers, NOT unbelievers. “The saints at Ephesus, and the faithful in Christ Jesus.” Though we are given A list of sins whereby we may grieve the Holy Spirit, I’d like to speak about the sin of “Evil Speaking.” I dealt with this A few months ago, and it was A lesson the Lord allowed me to learn.

Evil speaking – Is to relate the fault of A third person when they aren’t present to answer for themselves. How often have we noticed people who slander and defame the character of others? Typically, there is no proof for the slander, and what is spoken/shared is regularly NOT shared out of concern (to pray for the individual) but to CONDEMN, which leads to gossiping and backbiting.

Often, we are loose with our lips, carelessly saying words with no thought. Information is spread in various ways (via phone, television, personal conversations, magazines, social media, newspapers, books, etc.) and as believers, we are commanded against this sin of evil-speaking:

  • 1st Peter 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking’ s
  • Titus 3:1-2 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

God is commanding us here to lay aside this sin when we become believers. When we are involved in the sin of Evil speaking, we are opening the door for our enemy to gain entrance. Satan only needs A foothold or finger-hold, and then he has access to us.

Gossiping & evil-speaking has become commonplace in our society; how often do we hear others converse about people during their conversations, evil Speaking is typically involved. Our culture is groomed to accept gossip, slander, and accusations as normal. This sin gratifies our pride and fleshly nature to relate the fault of someone else as we look at ourselves as if we are better. You called him A liar; do you have A lying heart? You’ve called him A thief are you A thief at heart? Most importantly, we must know the intent and motive for why we are sharing the faults and sins of others instead of covering them in prayer which should be our initial response.

Testimony: A few months ago, I was having dinner with A fellow believer/friend. There was information shared at this dinner that was NOT confirmed, and it was merely an assumption. After dinner, I shared this same information with someone else as if it was A fact. Later that night, I had A hard time in prayer, it felt as if A wall was there, no matter how much I prayed in the spirit or sat before the Lord the wall maintained. Two days later, during my bible study time (I was reading 1st Peter 2). While reading the word aloud, I felt uneasy when I mentioned the sin of “Evil Speaking.” I turned to the Lord in prayer and repented, but I also wanted to know how did this spirit gain access? He began to speak to me about how I involved myself in the sin of Evil speaking. After I repented, renounced, and cast out the spirit (as led by the Holy Spirit), I felt A release in my spirit. I was able to receive A breakthrough in prayer & praise the heaviness was lifted.

Let’s look at some of the spirits that are associated with the sin of Evil Speaking. As you read this breakdown, examine your hearts and ask yourself if you’ve been guilty of at least one of these sins.

(From Demon hitlist by John Eckhardt)

  • BACKBITING: Lying, malice, slander, gossip, criticism, abuse, strife, whispering (2 Corinthians12:20), envy, jealousy, anger, bitterness, competition, evil speaking
  • SLANDER: Defamation, character assassination, accusation, cursing, libel, false report, lying, accuser of the brethren, malice, spite, bitterness, anger, hatred, evil-speaking

In the book of Timothy, we are warned about the signs of the last days among the warnings listed, we are told there will be “false accusers.” The concordance breakdown of this word refers to diabolos. A false accuser is someone who is used by a devil to slander, accuse, defame, unjustly criticize, and condemn others.

At what point are we justified to speak evil against our brethren? If we talk evil of others, God compares us to brute beasts we are taking on the nature of Satan; after all, he is the accuser of the brethren.

  • 2nd Peter 10:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

If it is A sin to speak against our fellow sister or brother, how much worse is it to speak against one of his ministering servants? Are we called to speak evil against the ministers (servants) of GOD? God Forbids! In the case of Miriam and Aaron, they both felt justified to speak Evil against Moses. But God had A different response. Numbers 12: 8′With him I speak mouth to mouth [directly], Clearly and openly and not in riddles; And he beholds the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?”

It is written, “Against an elder, receive not an accusation—but before two or three witnesses” (1 Tim. 5:19). It is at our peril that we say or do anything against the servants of God, for He reckons those who touch them as touching “the apple of His eye” (Zech. 2:8). “Touch not My anointed, and do My prophets no harm” (Psalm 105:15) is His express command.https://gracegems.org/Pink/evil_speaking.htm

Penalties of Evil Speaking:

  • Evil Speaking brings forth A life full of sorrowfulness and calamity – 1 Peter 3:10‘For, “The one who wants to enjoy life and see good days [good—whether apparent or not], Must keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from speaking guile (treachery, deceit).
  • Revilers will not enter into the kingdom of Heaven – 1 Corinthians 6:10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers [whose words are used as weapons to abuse, insult, humiliate, intimidate, or slander], nor swindlers will inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God.
  • Slanders will not be established in the earthPsalms 140:11 ‘Do not let a slanderer be established in the earth; Let evil quickly hunt the violent man [to overthrow him and stop his evil acts].”

How to overcome:

  • If you are guilty of this sin, it is important to confess to the Lord and repent. Repentance allows us to have A clean slate before GOD; he hears those with A contrite heart and A broken spirit.
  • Take up your cross and follow Jesus believing in him and conforming to his example of living. Deny yourself daily by laying aside evil Speaking as commanded in 1stPeter2:1. When someone brings evil speaking your way, lay it aside. Please do not allow it to pass your vessel.
  • Speak only good and edifying words to minister grace to those around us. Col 4:6 Let your speech at all times be gracious and pleasant, seasoned with salt.
  • Beware and refrain from the idle mind: Idleness leads typically to evil speaking. Most prolonged conversations can lead to ungodliness and gossip (long phone conversations and etc.) 1 Timothy 5:13 Now at the same time, they also learn to be idle as they go from house to house; and not only idle, but also gossips and busybodies [meddlers in things that do not concern them], talking about things they should not mention. ‘

Prayer Points to consider:

  • Ask the Lord to Set A guard over your mouth and to keep watch over the doors of your lips. Psalm 141:3
  • Pray to have A clean heart, and A right spirit renewed in you. Psalm 51:10-19
  • Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord. Psalm 19:14

In Conclusion, we were commanded to refrain from Evil speaking; instead, we should speak only edifying words that will minister grace to the hearers. If you’re guilty of these sins, we are to repent and turn away. Lay aside all evil Speaking!

Many Blessings,

Tanicia

Evil seeds & Evil Trees

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. ‘John 10:10

Jesus warned us about our ruthless enemy who comes to killsteal, and destroy. There are numerous ways Satan (our accuser) accomplishes his tactics. One deceptive tactic where he has been able to perform these actions successfully is via the plantation of evil seeds

We notice in scripture there are good trees and evil trees:

  • Luke 6:43-44 For there is no good tree which produces bad fruit, nor, on the other hand, a bad tree which produces good fruit. 44For each tree is known and identified by its own fruit.

How is it possible to have A tree with bad fruit instead of good fruit? Surely God isn’t planting evil seeds in our lives to allow evil fruit to manifest. We learn in Matthew Chapter 13 in the parable about the sower who is responsible for sowing the evil seeds which bring forth corrupt fruit.

  • Matthew 13:24-28 Jesus gave them another parable [to consider], saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds [resembling wheat] among the wheat, and went away. So when the plants sprouted and formed grain, the weeds appeared also. The servants of the owner came to him and said, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then how does it have weeds in it?’ He replied to them, ‘An enemy has done thisThe enemy sowed evil seeds while men slept (spiritually & physically sleep)

The enemy is responsible for sowing evil seeds in our lives, and if they are not dealt with when these seeds sprout, it will cause unforeseen failure.

How are evil seeds sown into our lives?

There are several ways these seeds are sown; I will name A few below:

  • Spoken words (Word Curses)
  • Evil Connections (Associations) 1Corinthians 15:33
  • Generational Curses (Sickness, Poverty, Habits, addictions, etc.)
  • Witchcraft (Witches will sow evil seeds in the lives of individuals to hinder their progress).

Spoken words: Evil spoken words can be spoken over relationships, marriages, your health, your future, destiny, etc.

(Example) A child whose parents always told them “you will never amount to anything, you’re too stupid, or you will never be more than me” will begin to believe this, and if the words spoken aren’t dealt with, it will be sown into the mind of that child. We must remember life and death is in the power of the tongue; our words can produce either good or evil fruit.

  • Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Another way these evil seeds are planted in our minds is the power of suggestion. In Genesis 3 when the serpent spoke to Eve, he planted evil seeds via his words or suggestions; EVE began to look at the tree and notice it was good for food and one to be desirable. She did this AFTER the serpent suggested to her (HATH GOD SAID). The evil seed had been planted, and she yielded to the temptation. The same thing is happening in our current day; the same cunning devil plants his evil seeds in our lives via spoken words or suggestions.

We are told to cast down evil imaginations from our minds, so we aren’t retaining evil seeds in our hearts.

  • 2nd Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Evil Connections: If we are associated with the wrong people, places, or things, their evil communication will indeed corrupt our good manners. 1Cor 15:33. When we associate with the wrong people, these individuals will be destiny quenchers; everything we were supposed to do for the Kingdom of GOD can become delayed, quenched, or unfruitful because we are walking with the wrong people.

There may not be any immediate effect (physically) from these evil associations. Still, as we walk with sinners over time, their evil deeds/seeds will be planted, and if we continue in the path of the ungodly, the evil fruit will be produced in our life.

Our evil communication can also come through the media, which will also corrupt our good manners. Ungodly music, television shows, all “Media” can plant evil seeds of suggestion and ultimately corrupt our good manners. It is important to guard your eye gate and ear gate my friend keep your eye single. Matthew 6:22

  • Proverbs 4:14 Do not enter the path of the wicked and do not go the way of evil men.
  • Proverbs 1:10-15 My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause: Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit: We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil: Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse: My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path”).

Generational Curses: Evil seeds can pass from one generation to another, usually these seeds were sown several years ago, but it will continue through the bloodline until it is destroyed. Usually, this is seen in familiar habits, poverty, sickness, etc. in the family. It is almost certain there is An evil seed that was planted, which brought forth the evil fruit.

Witchcraft: The enemy and his agents are always sowing seeds of witchcraft. Some witchcraft seeds are sown via evil dreams; it is also sown via gifts these seeds are planted so the devil can plant sickness, disease, or for others to ultimately control the person they are sowing these seeds in. His ultimate goal is to stop those in the kingdom from being fruitful.

Signs of Evil Seeds in our lives:

  • Delayed / Deterred progress (unfruitful in the kingdom) God wants us to be fruitful, the enemy comes to delay and deter us and cause us to be fruitless. John 15:8
  • Spiritual stagnation (Inactivity and lack of growth in our walk with God)
  • Vagabond (Someone who is a wanderer from place to place, no stability & no direction)
  • Continual sin patterns
  • Familiar habits or sins in the family (divorce, fornication, poverty, lack, etc.)
  • Spirit of Confusion & Discord
  • Double mindedness

These planted seeds can grow to become evil spiritual trees in our lives. Which, if not cut down via aggressive prayer and fasting, will produce some of the evil fruits mentioned above. It is essential to destroy these seeds because if we don’t begin to uproot the evil seeds in our life, it can choke off our good seeds, thereby cutting off our good fruit.

There is good news we are not called to allow the devil and his kingdom to continue with planting these evil seeds, nor should we allow him to continue with stealing, killing, and destroying us.

There is power in the name of JESUS! There is also power in the blood of Jesus to uproot every evil seed and break every curse. God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places, it is up to us to take the kingdom BY FORCE!!!

Every evil tree, plant, or seed that has been sown in your life can be uprooted! Uproot means – “To Pull Up,” “Take Out,” “Tear up by the roots.”

Please remember we reap what we sow; you can sow either evil or good seeds in your life. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption, but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting GAL 6:8

Solution:

You must be born again. If you are NOT born again, this is the first step before you go any further. If you’d like to give your life to Jesus, seek him in prayer and repent of your sins turn from the ways of the world, and follow Jesus. (if you’ve become newly born again, please email us, we will provide further discipleship information.)

  1. Do A fruit inspection over your life and the life of your family. Are you producing good fruit or evil fruit? Jesus says we will know individuals by their fruit. What type of fruit are you bearing?
  2. Is there anyone in your life you need to forgive? If so, remove the stony and hardness of heart through forgiveness.
  3. Confess, renounce, and repent of your sins (even the sins of your ancestors if necessary)

Prayer points to Uproot Evil Seeds:

  • Heavenly Father gather (bundle) all evil seeds in my life and consume them with your Holy Fire Replace them with good seeds in Jesus’s Name! Matthew 13
  • Heavenly Father uproot every evil seed in my life, send your angels to throw these seeds to the ground, dry up its spiritual fruit, and cause its strong branch to be broken and wither. Let your Holy all-consuming fire consume these evil seeds in Jesus’s name!
  • Heavenly Father, every spiritual plant in my life that you did not plant, uproot it in Jesus’ Name!
  • Heavenly father place A hedge of protection around me and my spiritual garden and cause me to become fruitful in your kingdom in Jesus’ Name!

In Conclusion, we can bring forth good fruit from A good tree, or we will produce evil fruit that comes from a corrupt tree. It is vital to guard our heart for out of it flows all the issues of life. Let’s begin to uproot these evil seeds so that we can live A life that is fruitful and abundant to our father.

There’s Power in the blood of Jesus

Precious Blood

As Christians, we should know and understand how powerful the blood of Jesus is. The blood of Jesus is so precious and powerful, yet many deny the power of his blood.

Any message of salvation void of the blood of JESUS is NOT the gospel. We need the blood of Jesus to cleanse our souls, to purge our conscience from dead works to serve the living GOD, and to be reconciled back into right fellowship with GOD.

What the blood of JESUS means to us:

The blood of JESUS washes our sins away and cleanses us: REV 1:5 Jesus demonstrated his love for us by setting us free from our sins through his death on the cross. He washed us from our sins in his blood, gathering us together into his kingdom and making us priests to administer GOD’s love to others.

Jesus purchased you (the church) with his bloodActs 20:28 Jesus purchased the church with his blood.

You’ve been reconciled to GOD by the blood of JESUS:

EPH 2:13 Through the blood of Jesus, those who were once far off from GOD, are now made near to GOD.

You’ve been purchased with the blood of JESUS1st Peter:19

We were purchased with precious blood, like A sacrificial lamb without spot or blemish. The priceless (precious) blood of Jesus Christ.

The Blood of Jesus Speaks for Us: Hebrews 12:24 Jesus, the mediator of the new covenant, sprinkled blood speaks. The blood of JESUS speaks of mercy on our behalf.

You have access to the Holy PlaceHebrews 10:19 Believers have confidence and full freedom to enter the Holy Place (the place where GOD dwells) by the blood of Jesus.

Through the blood of JESUS, your sins are forgiven: Hebrews 9:22 Everything is cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin.

The blood of JESUS purges our conscious: Hebrews 9:14 The blood of Christ, through the Holy Spirit, willingly offered himself unblemished to God, which cleanses our conscience from dead works to serve the living GOD.

The blood of JESUS offers eternal redemption: Jesus went once and for all into the Holy Place, through his blood, having obtained and secured eternal redemption (salvation of all who believe in Him as Savior).

Justified by the BloodRomans 5:9 Through the blood of JESUS, you’ve been justified (made righteous) just as you’ve never sinned, you are now declared free from the guilt of sin by His blood.

The blood of JESUS saves you from GOD’s wrathRomans 5:9 Through JESUS (shed blood), we will be saved from the wrath of God through Him.

There’s healing in the blood of JESUSIsaiah 53:4-5, Jesus has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows, and with his stripes, we are healed.

The blood of Jesus gives power/authority over the devil: Revelation 12:11

The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin: 1st John 1:7 If we walk in the light, as Jesus is in the light and have true fellowship with Jesus, the blood of JESUS God’s son cleanses us from all sin and will keep us cleansed as we walk in fellowship with him.

Through the blood of Jesus, we are made at peace with GOD: Colossians 1:20, Jesus made peace with believers through the blood of his cross.

The blood of Jesus will set you free from grief and sorrow: ISA 53:4, But He has borne our griefs, And He has carried our sorrows and pains.

There’s healing in the blood of JESUS: ISA 53:5And by His stripes (wounds), we are healed.

When we understand the power, redemption, sanctification, cleansing, healing power in the blood of Jesus, we can operate in all GOD has called us to, JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!! Apply the blood of Jesus over your life and operate in the fullness of his power.

Yielding Your Members

Our skills, capabilities, and bodies can serve many purposes; we can either use them as A tool of Righteousness or unrighteousness. The Apostle Paul advises us in Romans to present ourselves to GOD.

Romans 6:13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

To whom have you yielded your members? To yield means “To give way too,” it is A decision of your will who you yield your members (limb or part of the body) to. Either An instrument of unrighteousness unto sin or yielded unto GOD.

Those who are Instruments of Unrighteousness: Due to the sin nature which dwells in your mortal body, you will become A slave to sin, and servants of uncleanliness. Sin has reign (power, rule, dominion) over your vessel, which makes you obedient to sin unto death. When sin rules you, by nature, you will obey its lusts and passions. In the end, this vessel will receive the fruit of death as the wages of sin is DEATH!

Those who are instruments of Righteousness: Are yielded to GOD, made alive from the dead, and you are now using your members as instruments of Righteousness unto GOD. By nature, you will become A servant of GOD unto obedience, sanctification, and Righteousness. Sin should not have dominion (reign) over you. You’re under grace! This vessel will receive the fruit of Holiness & eternal life as the gift (grace) of GOD is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Do not be deceived; examine yourselves to see if you are in the faith. 2nd Cor 13:5

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Sin is not what you do it is what you are: To learn more about having A nature change to become an instrument of righteousness, check out the organic gospel book The Organic Gospel. http://theorganicgospel.net/
